Mohammed has Agric Technology (BSc.), UDS-Tamale, Ghana. Plant Pathology (Mphil). from KNUST-Kumasi, Ghana. He is phytopathologist and has been working farmers, both rural and Urban ones to protect their investments from the devastating effects of pests and diseases. He is working with the centre to help eradicate hunger and food insecurity through small scale farm development and farmer empowerment.
