GJESHA was established in July 25, 2019, as a dynamic and dedicated organization with a focus on fostering collaboration and synergy among journalists in Ghana who specialize in reporting on environment, sanitation, climate change, science, technology, health, agriculture, and food security reporting. Founded as a Non-Profit Journalism Project by the Centre for Climate Change & Food Security (CCCFS), GJESHA emerged from the recognition of the vital role that journalism plays in disseminating information and creating awareness about critical issues related to these sectors.
